Integrating the philosophy of “Being as Gift” into experiential theories such as EFT allows for exploring deeper thoughts about one's purpose in life. This philosophy highlights who we are as humans, and shifts the value from what we do to who we are. So often we do not learn this message in today’s society or from our Families of Origin. Sometimes we need help shifting our views and learning to validate and affirm our unique selves. Vanessa believe in expanding discussion on both positive and negative experiences (as outlined in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy). I accompany families, couples, and individuals in their journey to discover how accessing CORE emotions can lead to finding hope and joy in whatever life brings.
Vanessa enjoys working with couples and families from all backgrounds while helping them conflict. Vanessa identifying the underlying emotions and cycles or patterns (using EFT) and helps family break the cycle so they can create new ones. Identifying “the cycle as the problem” helps resolve conflict and move into positive patterns and ways to communicate.
